We kicked off Movie Mondays this year with a tribute to Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) as we watched footage from and about Apollo 11.  We'd like to thank Demetrius for his help!  Keep checking the Movie Monday posters and the announcements for future dates!

The library has a new program where anyone, even you, can be a winner.  If you check out a book that is checked out to the patron 'Imma Winner,' then it is your lucky day!  You will be able to choose a prize and have bragging rights for life.  Here is a picture of our very first winner-

Happy February!

February is Black History Month and we have a great display of books available for you to learn more about this important part of United States history.

The next Movie Monday (February 6 at 2:30 in the library lab) will be showing a film celebrating the life and works of Langston Hughes, a premier poet of the Harlem Renaissance.  All are welcome, bring your friends!

The first Movie Monday, showing King Arthur (part one) was a great success!  Everyone had a blast and can't wait to see part two next Monday (Jan 31).  See you then!
